Lincolnshire Windsor side chair with notched crest rail, turned stiles, 5 long spindles, bell-shaped seat, 2 ring legs with vase-shaped feet x 4, H stretcher WS 64

Lincolnshire Windsor side chair with notched crest rail WS 64
I have never seen a chair of this design before and as far as I can tell neither has anyone else! However, there is a simple line drawing of a similar side chair in John Shadford's notebook (the 10th image down this webpagewith the words 'Stool chair' and the price 2/6 written beneath. Could this chair have possibly been made in Caistor? Those turned back supports and that so distinctively notched crest rail certainly point in that direction. I found this chair at the Newark Antique fair and the dealer that I bought it off thought it was from Lincolnshire as well, but had not guessed the Caistor connection. One thing that is slightly unusual is that I am convinced that the seat is made out of ash.
